When Workspace shows the message "Contains discontinued or locked items. Saving is not possible." while saving an quote or order the following reasons may be the cause


1. Please check if the item number you entered already exists in the system. 

If not, please contact our item master data management.


2. Please check if it is an active item of the required plant.

- First you need to check the plant in the left part (1) -> if it is not there please contact our item master data management if you do not have the permission to activate items by yourself.

- If the item is activated in the plant, please check the item status on the right side. If it is "not released" or "locked" please contact our item master data management.




3. If it is an active item of the plant, but you just added or released it. Please make sure, you closed the quote/ order/ purchase order before you made this changes. If you did not, please close the process and application. 

Reopen the process and enter the item again, it should work now. If not, please close the process again and empty the cache by pressing Ctrl+M.
